Who we are
Our board of directors consists of dedicated professionals united by a shared commitment to providing essential care and education to Rwandan youth.
Kelsy Livic founded Naiana Initiative Rwanda in 2025 after years of her family supporting youth organizations in Rwanda. Driven by a desire to make a greater impact, she sought a more effective way to fundraise and contribute on a larger scale, leading to the creation of this organization.
“Naiana” is a creative blend of the names Andrijana, Naia, and Vivia, the three daughters of Nik and Kelsy. These girls were the first to donate on behalf of our organization, inspiring its name in their honor.
We welcome donations of clothing (new or gently used), shoes, basic medical supplies, books, toys, food, and monetary contributions.

Founder & President
Kelsy Livic is a critical care nurse who had the vision to create Naiana Initiative Rwanda. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in religious studies and philosophy, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a critical care certificate through the Association for Critical Care Nurses, and a RYT-500 certificate in yoga through Yoga Alliance.
Vice President
Danijela “Danny” Muller is a real estate agent and hardware tech with a heart of gold! In addition to working in real estate, Danny started her own computer chip sales company. She’s adept at networking and leading initiatives. As a refugee from Croatia, Danny can relate to building a life from the ground up.
Treasurer
Nikola “Nik” Livic is a computer engineer with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer engineering. He has a master’s degree in computer science. Nik is a member of the ‘Alliance for Just Money’ and volunteers for another non-profit called the American Monetary Institute which endeavors to change economic policy in the U.S.
Secretary
Agatha Skerritt-Burke is has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. She has experience working for non-profit organizations and is an avid human rights advocate. When she’s not busy trail blazing, she is busy at home raising and educating her two sons.
